PTU Advanced

Pharmacy Technicians University (PTU Advanced) is a didactic training program including 92.6 hours from PTU Retail, plus 34.4 additional hours of specialized training (including sterile product preparation) from PTU 101 (127-hour), plus 33 additional required preceptor hours, to be completed with either a self or employer coordinated externship. This program prepares candidates to take the national certification exam.*

This 160-hour program is targeted to pharmacy technicians seeking employment in hospital or clinical practice settings.
